Hi Divya,

If your Main Report's query does not need to be filtered by emp_id, then creating the prompt at the Report Level and passing it to the Subreport's source is the right way to do this.

Re: can any one clear me about calculated characteristics and how to use it.

Hi

From SAP Help

Formula Field

Use

To calculate a value for a calculated characteristic, enter a formula in this field. The formula will be evaluated by the SAP formula interpreter in the following places:

  • In the task list (checked for correct syntax)
The function module CHECK_FORMULA checks whether a formula stored as a literal or as variable has the correct syntax.
  • In results recording (when the value of the calculated characteristic is to be calculated)

Example

A formula can be structured as follows (with the standard settings):

Characteristic 10 stands for the length and characteristic 20 stands for the width. Characteristic 30 represents the area and is to be calculated from characteristics 10 and 20.
Characteristic 30 is therefore a calculated characteristic with the following formula:

  • General: Area = Length * Width
  • Formula interpreter: Area = ppnnnn * ppnnnn
The variable 'pp' defines the formula parameter and 'nnnn' represents the characteristic from which the value of the formula parameter is taken.
  • Example: Area = C00010 * C00020
'C0' stands for the arithmetic mean value and '0010' or '0020' for the respective characteristic

Re: Transport request seen in se01 is missing in stms

Hi Rajith,

It is possible that the transport request has not been released in QAS system.

This is one of the possible causes for data and cofiles not being generated.

However, it is advisable to first make the changes in DEV and then transport to QAS and finally PRD.

For the 2nd query, refer to

Ally Convergent

You can assign different factory calendar at different organization level.

In case you do not want to change workday every where and only want to change workday in shipping point than you need to create and assign new calendar where saturday, sunday defined as holiday.

In you case make saturday sunday, national holiday as holiday in your calander and assign it to shipping point.

Change and let me know in case you have any further query.

Re: Currency Conversion is not working

Hi Vinoth,

You should not be using SYSTEM schema for any application development related activities, It is meant to be the System Administrator user and should not be used for developing HANA models. That schema should not contain any application data (like currency tables) or any application master / transaction data.

Have you released the earlier request properly? Were you able to import the request inQua?

If it shows the locked in earlier request, then follow the below doc to unlock them and collect them again freshly in new TR.

Re: Month and Quarter display in prompt selection

Hi Ravi,

Which reporting database are you using?

You can create two more objects in your universe.

Suppose, the date object, which is used as prompt, is based on column date_obj

Then you can create two more objects as:

[Year] =  Year(date_obj) and [Quarter]=Quarter(date_obj)

Instead of date object, add these objects in query filter while creating report and apply prompts on them.

Hope it will help.

Please let me know in case any further suggestions are required.

Regards,

Yuvraj

Re: negative value in order quantity?

Hi Ravi,

Can you check final quantity in report for same order and then check in ECC, if those are matching. May be you are worried because of -ve value, but in actually it is because of delta values coming in for making order quantity match to ECC values.

Ganesh

Hi,

Select the Properties tab. Notice that the check box Associate A List Of Values is enabled. By default, this check box is enabled on all dimension and detail objects

Re: Issue to modify dynamic field symbol

Dear Ranjit,

Its not that complicated. Try it this way.

loop at<dyn_table> ASSIGNING<dyn_wa>.
   MOVE-CORRESPONDING <dyn_wa> to<dyn_mainwa>.
   append<dyn_mainwa> to<dyn_maintable>.
endloop.

loopat<dyn_table1> ASSIGNING<dyn_wa1>.
  ASSIGNCOMPONENT'MATNR'OFSTRUCTURE<dyn_wa1> TO<dyn_field>.
  READTABLE<dyn_maintable> INTO<dyn_mainwa> WITHKEY ('MATNR') = <dyn_field>.
  MOVE-CORRESPONDING <dyn_wa1> to<dyn_mainwa>.
   modify<dyn_maintable> index sy-tabix from<dyn_mainwa>.
endloop.

loopat<dyn_maintable> ASSIGNING<dyn_mainwa>.
   write :/ <dyn_mainwa>.
endloop.

Note: Ensure both tables are sorted by matnr.

Re: How to use the FM AC_DOCUMENT_CREATE

Better use released FM/BAPI like BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST (already many threads on this subject) - the BAPI will use the AC_DOCUMENT FM during execution.
