I'm using the Sybase Management Console (web) tool. Is that the same as Jag Manager? I click on servers \ statistics \ statistics in the treeview and then I click on the "Instance Pool" tab. It shows the "Active Count" and the "Discarded Count." And you have to click on the "Refresh" button because it does not refresh on it's own.

We are executing statements on tables in schema _SYS_REPO. In our case, I ran the statements as SYSTEM user. It is recommended that you should execute such statements as SYSTEM (or with ADMIN account that you might have created). However, if a database user has got following privileges then a user can perform such statements:

I am looking for ways to invoke the EM Web UI from a tool bar button (or menu) of a TM document, say Freight Order. Any suggestions on how I can go about doing this? The EM Web UI should open having pre-selected the Web Transaction & the right event handler corresponding to the Freight order.

Raghav - Yes we have less than 20 jobs in Dev and Quality ECC systems, there monitoring is working fine. We are having this issue only in Production where we have more than 100 jobs. I have deactivated and activated all jobs, after that everything worked fine 2 days and again we started having same issue, some jobs gets status correctly, some of them are not yet all getting.

Here are the steps performed
1. Created procedure through OV1Z
Maintained Product allocation procedure

Selected the product allocation procedure and given the required

Activated ‘Requirement category’ for product allocation

Only thing I think about is that there some exception happened when you attempt to go with DTP repair.
This is quite usual in BW. Once something goes wrong debug mode starts to show to user the point where something happened which was not supposed to ...

Dear experts
We upgraded from NW 7.00 to NW 7.4.
After applying the newest delta patches for Java, and trying to test Bex functionality we are getting the following error:
"Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/tc/ur/browser/BrowserDescriptor : cannot initialize class because prior initialization attempt failed"
The diagnostic tool displays a green status.
Both ABAP and Java are on NW 7.4 SP5.
Any ideas?

The error message sounds like the you may literally have a duplication of records (identical keys) in your load file. Are there any records listed twice in your file?

I know that as a SAP standard the calculation of the firm zone and trade off zone is based on calendar days and in not working days. In contrast creation profile works in working days.
I checked various threads in SCN wherein I couldn't find correct answer. Could anybody knows if it is possible to change that, so that firm zone values are based on working days / factory calendar days ? Is there any config or custom code exist?

Your requirement is "select one Role and create a copy new Role which not exist in the IDM and assign all privileges"
I have done in my environment the following way. Tested and working fine.
While creating a new role, select the reference role (of whose privileges are to be copied), and all the privileges are copied to the new role. You can alter this according to your requirement. if you want to implement the exact the same way you need. Else you can use the below approach.
I have created a Z_REF_ROLE attribute with following storage fields.
Then I have created a new ordered task with attributes as shown below.
Under this ordered task, I have created a To Identity Store pass and configured the destination tab as below.
After that, enable the pass, configure the dispatchers. Now in the IDM UI, you have to do the following. Select the copy business role task in the screen UI.
In the below scrren, provide the new role name, description and select the reference role from which the privileges has to be configured.
Click on save/submit.
The new role is created with the privileges copied from the referenced role.
Thats it !!

There is no process flow difference between PM & CS for some of the processes. Plant Maintenance is for Internal / own asset maintenance, and CS is for doing any kind of service to the customer & getting revenue out of it.
I am not sure which process flow (PM or CS) you are looking for.
CS Order type may bear revenues whereas PM Order types can't generate revenues. You can make this setting while defining order type in OIOA (Revenue Allowed tick mark)
If you want to bill the customer based on sales order, not based on service order, then service order will not bear any revenue as such, its corresponding sales order will generate revenue. Service order cost will be settled to sales order.
