FI side configurations for a new plant set up
Hello
I'm working on a scenario where an old plant is getting shifted to a new plant. There will be an overlap of one year where both the plants will be operational.
What are the FI side configurations that I should focus on ?
I have few items on my list already such as:
OKB9 Settings
Material Ledger activation
Interfaces
Plant specific reporting
What configuration do I need to check in the below areas:
Asset Management
Costing
COPA

My objective to use PCo is to get data from OPC serverand using PCo store it in HANA DB.
I created restful destination and i am able to store the data.
But my requirement is to collect the metadata of all tags from different machine in a separate table in HANA. Suppose if someone is adding new machine then i want to store the tags information in a table in HANA.
If I use the ODBC connection, It will give data in narrow format, can we changed it to wide format?

I started working on HANA SP12. previously i had SP11 . Finally i was able to make assignments and procedures ran fast without any hassle. I'm not sure what the problem was,but this wasn't the case in SP12.

Query based alerts to trigger on event
Hi All,
I know you can configure alerts to run based on custom queries on a regular interval, say every 1 hour. Is there any way to trigger the alert at the time of an event happening instead, for example when a user change a certain field in Item Master an alert triggers based on a query.

Re: Cheque printing with F-58 and F110.
Hi Guys,
I am closing this post as I have figured the solution.
In my opinion PMW is the best method to go with for cheque printing as SAP has them-self told that the classic RFF* way of doing it will be eventually phased out.
Plus PMW gives you the standard Interface "FI_PAYM_DATA" which has all the data we need, you just have to configure your data in the correct place to get it picked by the Cheque printing program and populate the parameters in the Interface.

How in the BADI you are going to know from which hierarchy to take OWNER and REVIEWER? I can imagine that when you set WS you can find somehow which hierarchy is selected, but when you run a DMP there is no way to find that out.
The only solution I know is to build 2 Models and use only 1 hierarchy in each Model.

Hi All,
With all your support I successfully completed my first BO report development and looking forward for documentation & unit testing.
Now along with the development project, I'm going to start my work on production support project.
So apart of this I'm going to take the transition from 27th June on wards.
Kindly let me know,what are the queries which I need to raise while taking the transition from BO perspective.
Please share the link which completely describes the production support issues from BO perspective.
Note : Production support for all the tools ( IDT,Web I ,Dashboard,Crsytal,Lumira and Design Studio) in BO.

Re: Material stuck in quality inspection stock
At the time of material movement was there any inspection type activated in material master? You can check in MM03 with display changes in material master to check if someone has deactivated it after the movement.
As I read further, you are getting error while doing 321 through MB1B. That drives me to conclusion that an inspection lot must be open in system. Could you please check in QA32 (by choosing option select all inspection lots with wide date range) if there is any lot with status SPRQ or SPST? If you you can post the stock against it.
If you still do not find any such inspection lot in system, I would go with Arijit to implement 48815. Let us know if this resolves your issue.

Yes, both source and target installations are on the C drive on each server (during setup we usually kept the defaults,).
On the target we also kept the source SIA name as well as the same ports for all services.
