ML81n Service entry held by several users at same time

The scenario in our retail system is:

Same vendor supply the same service for all plants. Services are centrally managed by central offices.

 

User creates single monthly based service PO with one item position for each plant, wich means 650 plants = 650 PO items.

 

During ML81n users are getting blocked caused by PO is treated by someone esle from another plant.

 

Is there any standard option to skip the error ME006 User XXX already processing Purchase order 4500XXXX?

 

I haven't found any clue so far.

finding billing document type with input output type

HI

 

I am trying to search a billing document type with output type, at present I am doing this through searching billing doc number through output type in NAST and then through VBRK by giving the billing document numbers I am finding billing document type, can I do this in a single table (standard) pls suggest

Probably your new condition Z are in a level greater than other message type. So when the message output system are triggering the access sequence will found firstly the another message that is not yours.

 

So there are no way to create a "default" message to purchase document. It means that you must configure the access sequence and message schema to the system trigger firstly your Z message, So insert your new message before the step of the message that are being triggered now. Details in the print.

Thanks Tammy - I found a setting in Ao_app,config: ShowDSVariantsForWorkbooksWithOneDS= true or false (false is the default value)

 

When set to true, (with my one DS report) is shows up (not greyed out).

Hi Surendra,

 

Yes, you need to choose "Expand ...." option and uncheck the Integrated Database, so it'll point to the existing CMS Database.

To make @sapbiBO1 as default CMS, you DO NOT update the existing files BILaunchpa.properties and CMCApp.properties. Stop Tomcat. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Tomcat6\webapps\BOE\WEB-INF\config\custom and create a file called ‘BIlaunchpad.properties’ with the following text:

cms.default=@sapbiB01

Save and Close and restart Tomcat. Create a similar file for CmcApp.properties as well.

Check this out as well, how to change CMS name | SCN


You'll have 2 CCMs (one on each server) after the installation of BO on 2nd server.

You don't have to change PlatformServices.properties, you'll have to create a new file under the Tomcat location (where you created BILaunchpad.properties and Cmcapp.properties)

We got a mail from DBA team as "node 0 is reaching to 80% threshold level."

We will be implementing - 1908533 - BPC File Service Cleanup Tool

195157 - Application log: Deletion of logs

But as per my understanding these notes implementation deletes the data from UJD_STATUS,BALDAT,BALHDR,BAL_INDX.

But we observed UJF_DOC,UJ0_CLUS_PARAM tables are very large.

Wanted to know the house keeping procedures for these tables.

And any use if we delete flat files which were generated by exports jobs and the files which we have uploaded.

Hello,

coming back to Re: Determine class name used for calling a static method . I've played a bit with a stack as I don't like not fully working solutions, but I'm stuck now and without a help of SAP people I can't go further I think. That's why I hope maybe Horst Keller or any other SAP employee may be able to help here.

 

Ok. So what's the point at the moment ? I have no problem with determining class name used for calling a static method as long there is only ONE call of this static method in a line, or even probably in one block ( means one syntax ended with .). The problem appears only when the method is used several times in a line or block.

 

But let's go to example, here is part of the program which calls 2 times creation of FALV "from" local class.

Inside factory method CREATE I can check with CL_ABAP_COMPILER how many times the factory method is used and where exactly.

With CL_ABAP_PARSER I can get easily what class name was used to call CREATE method.

But the problem is still that in my example from STACK I will get info 2 times that method was called from 46th line.

 

I found that CL_ABAP_GET_CALL_STACK=>GET_CALL_STACK method, returns unformated STACK info, where if you look on the 3rd line into field PROGRAM_INFO, then you'll notice that the numbers in last \*\ are different for the calls at different column of the 46th line. The problem is that I cannot figure out how they are calculated and I cannot find the way to exchange this info into line & COLUMN number.

Hi Shubham,

 

As far as I understand: firstly SAP APO, CRM, BI which were earlier treated as separate or extensions will all be under one umbrella and in one server-S4 HANA and I believe part of the licence of S4 HANA.

 

Secondly, SAP customers might loose out on some of the smart features that are offered as S4 HANA integrated with APO- for example:

ATP functionality will not be part of the SD anymore it'll be part of GATP & Flow manufacturing works in unison with APO.

 

It really depends on what is your client's industry and if they're already on SAP without APO--maybe they need to check the simplification list on functionalities that will be discontinued.

However, if APO is part of S4 HANA you may want to convince your client to utilize it.

Thank you Sandra for the quick response. Next time , I will open a fresh posting.

I found the fix for the solution. My problem is specific to the statement select count(*) from <table>.

It appears even though the statement would return a single value , I have to declare internal table for returned value. Also for Oracle database , it appears we have to execute next_package command at least once to get the result. I found the solution at the following link.

Hello Lakshmi,

 

In order to see the details of older versions of decision tables follow below steps:

 

- Ensure the versioning was 'ON' for the decision table and you are working in 'Expert Mode'

- Expand the 'General' section of the Decision table
- Click on 'Versioning' tab
- The list of all the older versions will be displayed
- Select any two versions from the list and click on 'Compare' button in the header

 

This will open the two versions of the decision table in parallel screen along will all the data of those versions.

Hi Experts,

 

I've follow the SAP notes related to SAP CRM interface with social media APIs.

 

  • 1859791 CRM Social Media Integration in Interaction Center
  • 1832462 Master Note: How to Implement Social Media Channel API to Integrate with CRM Interaction Center
  • 1832480 How to implement twitter API for CRM Interaction Center

 

 

I've succeeded for every thing except the step of schedule background job. I've tested the GET_POST method and it's succeeded to retrieve tweets as desired. The following screen produce:

I've tried to schedule background job. I've created Z-Program. The program is as follow:

 

REPORT ZTWITTER_GET_POSTS.

DATA : CL_SOC_TW_CLIENT_TEST TYPE REF TO ZCL_SOC_TW_CLIENT_TEST.

CL_SOC_TW_CLIENT_TEST = NEW ZCL_SOC_TW_CLIENT_TEST( ).

 

CALL METHOD CL_SOC_TW_CLIENT_TEST->GET_POST( IV_SOC_POST_INFO = '').


The method GET_POST is executed successfully. The internal table have the tweets correctly.


What should I do to be in interaction center inbox as discussed in : twitter(also facebook) is official integrated into CRM 7.0 EHP3


The program is executed every hour.


Actually, I don't know the detailed steps for scheduling such job. It's not stated clearly in note.

SAP IDM 8.0 - REST API - How to CREATE a new MX_PERSON or any other ENTRYTYPE?

Hi IDM Experts!

 

I have set up the IDM REST API v2 successfully, and I have even been able to update a user successfully; the methods used to create a new user via the REST API v1, does not seem to be same way one would create a new user via the REST API v2; I can't seem to find anything within the documentation (maybe I have missed something?) that clearly explains the process to create a new user (MX_PERSON) or any other new entry of an entrytype using the REST API V2.


Would greatly appreciate your advice on how one can create a new user using IDM 8.0 REST API.

How to activate "Source of Supply Tab" in PO ?

    In my IDES SAP system, when I create PO, I cannot find  the Tab of " Source of supply" in item level.

    where is it? it there some switch to activate it or  some prerequisite  is needed.

    I search the SCN but fail to find some information about it .
