I currently have a SAPUI5 commons table which is binded using ODatatable. Sorting and filtering works properly when I am not using the parameters property of bindinginfo. There is a case where I need to use the parameters of bindinginfo and I realised that it overrides all the parameters that are automatically created by the commons Table. Is there any way I can do this? To retain the original parameters created by the Table (due to sorting and filtering) and at the same time include the additional parameters manually?

How-To Specify Different Metapedia Approvers
Hi All,
When defining a new term with Information Steward Metapedia we are presented with a list of approvers as follows:
Metapedia Administrator
Administrators
Metapedia Approver
Metadata Management Data Steward
What I would like to do is setup additonal approvers eg
Approver Section 1
Approver Section 2
Approver Section 3
My question is how do I do this using the Central Management Console with Information Platform Services as a standalone implementation?

Organisational Units have values assigned to them, therefore assign it a value which will ensure it is not picked.
Then adjust your Organisational Data Determination Profile such that it excludes Organisations with the value you've assigned.

Could not start communication channel due to an internal error
Hi,
I used SAP SFTP adapter in my receiver Communication Channel. but when I trying to manually start the receiver CC, I got message as
But when I go SXI_MONI check the messages and it says the message is processed successfully. I can't verify if the third party received the file yet, have to wait till Monday.
I am just wondering what is the problem?

i have a problem native sql in hana system

We are upgrading sap system from using sytem to hana system.
But , I got Syntax Error native sql.
It is select dbms_random.value(1,10) as "test" from table.
Error massage is "invalid name of function or procedure: VALUE: line 1 col 20 (at pos 19)".
What is the problem?

Re: Issue with WEBI reports based on Multi Source Universe
I purely by chance noticed that what seems to be happening is the Data Federation service is crashing and restarting.
I found this because I worked out if I have the crash and log out of Webi and back in the report seems to work for a few refreshes before crashing.
Once crashed 5 times though I was getting some error about not be authorized to return data from the universe.
I logged into the CMC and by chance notice that the DF service had stopped - with the explanation being it had crashed 5 times within and hour.
I restarted it, switched to Webi to run the report and when it crashed I happened to flick to CMC and saw the service was initializing.
I've tried stripping back my report query by query to see if it's a specific data provider with no luck, even went through the universe and gave unique names to each object as I think I saw that suggested somewhere - still no luck.
Because of the way our environment is set up we have to have 3 sets of connections and 3 .DFX and repoint the universe to the appropriate DFX before promotion.
Because I've been playing around with all of the various components trying to fix this issue, our DEV Webi environment is currently using the PROD connections ad universe.
I happened to notice last night that it doesn't seem to crash in DEV !!! i.e. I ran the report about 20 times with various prompt values and no issue.
So, now I have to work out what the difference is between the two environments - needle in a haystack - could be any setting any where or something in the promotion - meanwhile my boss is suggesting we 'give up' on multi source universe and try and rework the report using two single source universes.

HR Renewal 2.0: installation requirements
All,
We are implementing HR Renewal 2.0 at our client and are currently working on the technical configuration to enable the landing page(timesheet application specifically to begin with). We have a remote gateway set up, our gateway is on a separate server.
We recently upgrade to the latest components - SAP HR 608 SP20 and EA-HR 608 SP20 on ECC. Below is a screenshot of what we have in our systems. We followed all the steps in the HR Renewal 2.0 installation guide - the Fiori applications configured with the same systems work. We activated all oData services, activated the SICF services, activated the switches etc. but, we are unable to launch the landing page and access the UI5 timesheet application.
Questions:
1) Based on below, do we need IW PGW component in our Gateway system for HR Renewal 2.0 to work? I thought this was already included with what we have installed on our gateway system.
2) We have not yet copied the SAP provided role SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_UI5_1 in our namespace in the backend, we are in the process of doing this. Can you please confirm that this activity needs to be performed in the backend system(ECC)?
3) How can I launch the landing page or the timesheet application-> I am guessing we have to launch the application from the gateway system? Currently, I get a 404 not found error even if I try to "test service" for the suite page builder application sicf -> default host-> sap-> bc ->ui5_ui5-> sap -> arsrvc_suite_pb. Is this due to IW PGW or the authorizations?There are no errors in gateway log.
Would really appreciate some help in getting the basic landing page and time sheet application running soonest, as we are on a tight timeline.

Do you receive any error message ? I guess you might see some information in the log.
I had a similar issue and I simply killed the process via the terminal (mine was with Tomcat) using the following command: ps -ef | grep tomcat | awk '{print $2}' | xargs kill -9

目前是登陆用的TOKEN并保存了SESSION，用户输入账号密码登陆后，整个界面时他权限能看到的所有报表，然后用户点击其中一张报表，就用到上面的代码获得这张报表的提示对象，和我在WEBI创建了代替从BEX继承过来的对象，经过JAVA加工只会显示出我在WEBI创建的对象，输入相关值后，最后获得的是用Opendocument拼接出来的报表。而现在问题是出在每点击一张报表都会新增加2个SESSION，提取提示对象一次，最终的拼接Opendocument又一次，加上最开始的登陆一共3次。

You may need to check if there is an inconsistent data for the example serial number(e.g. use report RISTEQ11 from note 339282.)
You may also need to check if you have same issue if you upgrade your GUI to 740.
And you may create a new txt file to see if the issue still happens or not.
