Integration with CAD system
Dear All;
My customer needs to procure a CAD system, and integrate it with SAP. So, my question is, Does SAP has a ready made CAD system that can be used in Form work, Scaffolding design, and if not, how can an external CAD system (MEC CAD) integrated with SAP? , What are the procedures and what are the integration points that can help the customer doing its business with SAP?

How to segregate any field whether updated by exit or manually by user
Hi all,
We've some logic on Exit of ME21N and we are updating planned delivery date.
But as you know user can change this field by manually also.
So I want to track whether this field is changed by my user-exit code or by user manually.
Can we add some Z entries to CDHDR and CDPOS tables?

Not quite clear, what you are trying to say. Does this mean it shows the intended cost centre in the posting run log, but is using a different one in actual posting? I wouldn't believe that.
Of course: if we are in a retro scenario, the system will akways have to address the old cost centre as well to reverse that old posting.
I'm also not clear, whether you've done the fixed cost assignment. Here I understan what you write as yes. Further down someone making the same suggestion and you don't seem to know what to do in that view (basically: if you don't find it intuitive, the IMG docu explains it well

I don't think "google it" is an unprofessional answer and, in fact, wish more SCN members would just answer that instead of trying to guess what the heck OP was asking about or doing the googling for them. It's more effective to "teach a man to fish", as we all know. The problems start when "man" does not actually want to fish but prefers to have a fish fillet brought to them on a silver plate. And that's cool but then they should not be employed as fishermen.
P.S. Of course it should be "man/woman", but this proverb predates PC, sorry.

Custom SD-FI Posting
Hi,
We need to set up a configuration or enhancement in SAP SD FI to generate an fi document posting like this one:

In SAP standard SD configuration only allows g/l accounts as customer counterpart.
Does anybody know an alternative to do this? Is it possible?

Hi Martin,
It looks like you have an issue with the value of the entity which was assigned in the onPress function within the detail controller.
From the error it appears that the sEntityPath of the bindView function in the detail2 controller is set to undefined.

So did you update to SP 14 or just install the 64 bit runtime and test again?
If updated to SP 14 did you recompile your app? There are new API's in SP 14 so it needs to be rebuilt.
Now that you are running in 64 bit mode does that printer driver support or have a 64 bit version?
Download the app I wrote in KBA 2163438, recompile in either 32 or 64 bit and see if it works. If not set and use the POC print option for the viewers print button and see if that works.

I created a new variable and it works perfectly,
Just to note I added W/E to show Weekend dates as I researched the forums for conditional formatting on charts but I'm using BO 4.1 and I couldn't find a way under the Palette and Styles options to apply colour-coding therefore I added a condition in a separate variable to show weekends.

Hello, I just ran into this same issue:
I was finally able to correct it by just increasing the services "timeout parameters" on the windows server. Had to add a new entry to the registry 
It may not work for you, but an option if you want to try. (I got the information from a search on the 1053 error)

Hi Manoj,
When you post an entry for the child account, system checks if any substitute document for the parent account with the same origin, posting date, due date, currency of the child account entry exists. If it exists same substitute document is used for the child account entry, otherwise a new substitute document is created and used in the child account entry. Also, when system finds an already existing substitute document to use, it should not have reversed or cleared or processed by EA10_Coll earlier.

We want employees to upload photo.But while uploading photo in portal, a new personal data record is creating in the R/3 system.That too with blank values for few mandatory fields.Any idea why this weird behaviour. I have tried the photo upload via R/3 and its working as expected.Any thoughts.
