Hello,

 

To make things in order please follow this approach,

 

1) Please ensure data for attributes of 0Employee is available in master data and all attributes are marked as navigational attribute at infoobject level

2) remove these infoobjects from the cube. This will also be required to remove from generated infosource and reactivate the transformation.

3) Now these infoobjects will also be available in Navigational attribute subsection of the cube. Place tick mark to select them.

4) create a sample query and use these navigational attribute and check the data.


Forecast delivery block

Customers send forecast Delivery schedule via EDI. System is putting automatic block on those delivery schedules. Schedule line also is being picked up wrong. In VOV5 we have default schedule for the item category but manual schedule line is being picked up. We don't want this delivery block. There is no block on customer level. Any comments/ help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi Jitendra,

 

It is development for IOS. During create or on edit of an activity i have question field in my screen where i have update rule which pulls data from complex tables based on certain criteria.

 

After the data is pulled i see the data is getting truncated.

Transporting a new dimension added to an existing model?

I've read this thread:

I am not sure this answers my question.  So, we only have DEV and PROD - no QA, at the moment.  We added a new dimension to an existing model in DEV and tested that everything works as expected.  Now, we need to collect the transort to promote to PROD.  In the thread, above, it is suggested to delete the model from the target environment and then import the transport from the source to the target.

 

How does this work with the transaction data.  In reality, all of the existing data in the model should be applied to one member of the new dimension, but there is nothing that allows you to determine which member that should be.  Does this mean we need to load the transaction data from PROD into DEV to populate the model such that the import into PROD already includes the transaction data?

Srihari,

STO is supposed to disappear from MD04 in the supplying plant if you create a delivery for the entire quantity of the STO requirement.  The STO is replaced by the delivery.  If you had both the delivery and the STO appear as requirements, you would in effect double the requirements.

 

From the little you have told me, I would say you haven't missed any configuration; this is pretty standard.

 

Can you elaborate on why you think this is a problem with net requirements?

Hi Suresh,

 

  If you are driving the project, ensure that size of the  DEV and PRD  are the same. are  you using TDMS?.

Ensure that  BDLS was completed with out any issues from  basis side.

As  your friends  told   this is a basis activity,

I  hope that DEV and PRD are on same BI and patch and database  and all are in sync.

Error message 090(56) No auth for personnel number xxx

Hi,

 

I am testing authorization for users who can put up travel expense on behalf of another staff.  However, I encounter error message 090(56).  I have granted access to P_PERNR, P_ORGIN and P_ORGINCON but still encounter the error.

 

For R/3, we can user SU53 transaction to check on missing authorization.  For ESS, what is the way to troubleshoot the errors?

The SFAPI and OData API are exposed for any web service integration, including Dell Boomi AtomSphere. The OData API can handle delta changes.

 

HCI is an evolving platform and offers similar functionality to Boomi in terms of building integrations with a drag-and-drop interface, etc. There is a SuccessFactors connector provided for HCI and the Talent Hybrid integration content is available on HCI as well as PI. The Employee Central integration content currently available on Boomi should be available on HCI hopefully by the end of the year. The Talent Hybrid high-level roadmap can be found here:

 

SAP HCM and SuccessFactors Integration Packages: an overview

 

Boomi is included in the Employee Central subscription, but is very expensive to license for other use cases (i.e. Talent Hybrid scenarios). HCI costs 7.5% of the SuccessFactors subscription. PI is free. HCI may be included in the Employee Central subscription at a later date, but this is not definitely going to happen.

Linking existing physical sample to new inspection lot

Hello Experts,

 

We use sample management in QM. The physical samples are generated for the inspection lot of a batch. But if the batch is required to be reinspected at a later instance during delivery, we would like to create a new inspection lot and connect to the existing physical sample of the batch. Can I do this automatically in background. Here is the scenario.

 

Inspection lot and multiple samples are created for a batch during goods receipt from production. Inspection is completed, UD is done, stock is moved to unrestricted. While PGI to customer I would like to create a new inspection lot for the batch and attach to the existing physical samples of the batch and move the stock to quality.

 

I know new lot can be created for existing sample but this is manual and not relevant to stock posting.

Table control bound to oData model - "No Data" shows between model refreshes

Hi,

 

Apologies if this has been asked before, searching for "table no data" brings allsorts up.

 

 

I have an odata model to which a table control is bound.  Below is an example of the complete URI called to populate the model, and teh view code.

 

 

Every 2 seconds I perform an odataModelPilotScoreBreakdown.refresh().  This causes a "No Data" splash image over the table whilst the refresh takes place, not pretty.

 

 

I can hide the splash with CSS, but the appearance during refresh is still like a flicker, where table contents disappear momentarily before refreshed with new content. 

 


I would prefer a more silkily smooth update, possible?  I can imagine why a refresh might be taking a heavy hammer to the whole table update, but I don't know if model.READ() would be lighter, and would work in my example, as collections are not directly accessible via my Hana calculation view.

This is more of a business related question. What will happen in SAP is just "noting" the business decision.

 

Two things are important -

1.What are the rules in the contract, between the buyer and seller; between the seller and the freight forwarder (transporter).

2. Is this a big customer? and does the seller want to please the buyer?

 

Don't focus on what will be done in SAP i.e. credit note or debit note or return or....

Contact a senior manager (Electronic company) and ask, this is a situation - what would be your approach?

 

Note: As a senior executive in India, their way of dealing could be different from how it is done in other parts of the world.

Dear Amith,

 

Create the return sales order for material (Sox) or if you are creating RO with reference sales order click on Item Selection there you choose only free item(Sox) or If you click on Copy all the items will copy to Ro, in that case delete main item in the RO. Then create return delivery with reference to RO and create the billing(Credit Memo) with reference to RO.

Please clarify one thing - your company (seller) wants to send one qty of soxs to the buyer, without any bill (for zero price).

Is that your requirement?

 

(it is not about get the damaged pair of soxs back from buyer to your company)
