Updates to clients are as needed for features and fixes. Android clients are expected either monthly or bi monthly at this point. iOS clients are running on a few months between cycles. These cycles are subject to change as needed. When a client is released, a blog post is put up
My recommendation is to go to the wiki page below, log in and then watch the page. SAP Afaria support updates this regularly with all announcements/releases for clients as well as the main product. Dear Basis,
Disable the fullyMaterializeLobData property by using the parameter fullyMaterializeLobData=false
Default value is true so it is trying to load the whole data at once, if you set the property to false then it will fetch the LOB data in small chunk.

Cost element setup and automatic acc. assignment
hi Guys,
While configuring Simple Finance basic scenarios, one of the features is that all GL accounts are also cost elements by default. We can set even specific parameter in GL master data for Cost element category.
Later on, when i started testing i realized that because of that when posting receivable, system is asking me to provide 'CO account assignment' even though for revenue i'd expect only to provide profit center.
Does it mean that i would need now to configure OKB9 for all possible scenarios to be able to post without providing always Cost object for AR side posting ?

Purchase Group disapperad
Dear all,
while creating the SC the purchase group are automatically fetched from Org. and from Badi.
Once the SC is ordered and if I try to display the SC using SC details report the Purchase group field is empty.
Technically in BBP_PD the Purchase group is available.
So what would be the reason for it??

As Anita said, put both user A and B in users tab of SU10. Under roles tab, put both roles R1 and R2.
Assuming for role R1, you want to set valid to date as yesterday i.e. 04.01.2016 and for role R2 you want to set date as 05.01.2016.
So in roles tab,
- select Remove role option (and profile also in profiles tab).
- From date for R1 = 05.01.2016 and To date = 31.12.9999
- From date for R2 = 06.01.2016 and To date = 31.12.9999
Save the changes. This will set valid to date for R1 as 04.01.2016 and for R2 as 05.01.2016

Error 'Timeout expired'
Hello everyone,
I have an issue, this morning when I tried to launch an add-on on all client computers, I got an error 'Timeout expired' andno menu item appeared. After restarting the server, the add-on could now be started. Any information on what triggers this problem?
