Right now my primary concern is the cost of deploying technology via Appeon. I think there needs to be a price point at which you can get unlimited deployments. I think i am paying a lot for the Appeon license and then paying a lot to deploy. While PB 11.5 and Sybase never kept up, at one point I could deploy a web application to an unlimited number of users without worrying about any deployment cost at all.

Procedure
- Open the SAP HANA Application Lifecycle Management.
The SAP HANA Application Lifecycle Management is available on the SAP HANA XS Web server at the following URL: http://<WebServerHost>:80<SAPHANAinstance>/sap/hana/xs/lm
- Choose the SETTINGS tab.
- In the Transport section, make the selection that suits your needs.
Ensure that Enable Native SAP HANA Transport is selected, if you want to use this option. This is the default setting.
Select Enable CTS Transport, if you want to use this option.
In the Switch Transport Mode popup, choose Yes to confirm your choice.

Hi,
It would be helpful if you can specify what input you are trying to pass to the input parameter.
Based on what I understood, as a workaround, you can create a calculated column on REGION field like
IF(ISNULL("REGION"),'',"REGION")
This would convert the null values into a blank sting ('') and then you can do the comparison.
You can also try to use the ISNULL("REGION") in your filter condition if that helps.

Well I asked SAP to make note 1852377 available to customers and the response from SAP support was
"I received permission to have the article deleted from our system
we will no longer give customers configurations for unsupported 3rd
parties..." 
So amazingly SAP will delete the note that helped me. SAP wont support NW as a web server for BOE in a SSO environment 
but will I guess help with BOE tomcat and SSO. 
So we have decided to shutdown our NW Portal for BOE and revert to tomcat.

MDM 7.0 - Unable to view images in the catalogue from SRM Portal
Hi All,
We have imported the images in Data Manager and then uploaded the supplier template from Import Manager successfully. In SRM, the catalogue items are shown properly but the images are not shown for this supplier. The field is completely blank.
Please note that the settings in UI are fine and the Image source is maintained properly

1. I General output materials'll have should under go QC plans. In your case Ring is consumable and Segments are the yield. So inspection lot is to be maintained for segments (DUMP-RULE).
2. If materials segments are rejected for e.g., out-off 16 segements 2 where rejected during inspection then u'll have a short-fall by 2 nos.
To Replace Reject Component do as follow:
SOLUTION 1:
Unplanned Goods Issue:-
With this type of withdrawal, it is determined during the production process that an additional material or an additional quantity of a component already withdrawn is required for an order. This withdrawal is unplanned because there is no reservation to be referenced. You enter this withdrawal as a goods issue without reference.
Entering Goods Issue Without Reference (Unplanned Goods Issue): -
Entering a goods receipt without referencing a document involves the following steps:
1. MIGO - Goods Issue > Others (Here use movement type "261")
2. Enter all details like; material, qty, plant, storage location, etc... IN YOUR CASE THIS IS RING.
3. In "Account Assignment" Tab enter "Production Order No"
Note: - If U select Goods Issue > Order and enter Order No and system defaults the materials and qty then its planned.
SOLUTION 2:
Production Order Without Material (CO07):
Here in settlement rule define you PREVIOUS PRODUCTION ORDER.
BOM add manually as i explained for main Prod Order.
The rest normal.

Activating Equipment view means Creating a new Equipment, then why should you provide EQUNR value to the fm?
There are 2 cases of Activating Equipment view
- You have not yet created a Serial number for the Material.
- You have a Serial number created for material but Equipment view is not activated.
The other case is:
- You have an Equipment for which you want to assign Material + Serial number (Activating the SerData tab in the Equipment master).
So, you need to tell which one is yours?

1. using menu New->Hybrid Mobile Project from Mobile App is the Appropriate approach to do the mobile enablement for existing Web apps (in your local web space).
2. Changing the "Project Types" is NOT a supported approach for mobile enablement. That hole supposed to be fixed.
