Re: Transports to production - project implementation
Hi there!
Thhe import history is not located in the database.
You have to look into the ALOG* files in the log directory of DIR_TRANS. There you could delete single lines according the ones you want to delete. Howeve be careful! This is not a good thing to do on the auditors point of view.

I don't have the ability to update/add states
When I login to my SAP B1 8.82 PL16 as an admin with all authorizations, under my Setup menu I don't have states.
The B1 8.82 manual says this should be here (I read the manual):
To access the window, from SAP Business One main menu, choose , in the States - Setup window, specify the fields in the table.
But it isn't (see the attached images). I did a search of SAP notes and came up with nothing.
I have also looked through the entire menu (under Business Partners, etc.) and did not find anything.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Chris
Re: PI 7.0 Sender FILE Adapter - Dynamic Source FILE DIRECTORY
Hi Prem
Dynamic folder name in receiver is very much possible, but i don't think we can have dynamic folders for sender channel.
In case you have a list of say 5-10 folders where you know the names then you can use file masking. If the folder names are not know, then i don't think it can be achieved.
You can try writing a script on FTP server to collect files from all folders and place them into single folder and then you can configure the sender channel to read the files from that folder.

Re: Can SAP schedule resources for production picks?
EWM more deals with the labor compensation side. My request could not be accomodated with standard WM. We had to build a custom utility that can do algorithm-based distribution of TOs into various queues.
Re: http://schemas.sap.com/sapui5/extension/sap.ui.core.template/1/repeat.js not found
I'm not sure how to access their annotation file, Is it possible for you to display that?
Re: Confirmation window on standard FPM application button
Harsha, big thanks to you. This resolved my issue.
Again, many many thanks for helping out and not giving up on this. You are the best! Full points awarded.

Report Painter Compare Two Periods
I have a P&L report in report painter, and would like to compare two columns on the report.
Actuals(1) Actuals(2)
519000 5,0000 45,000
519300 3,0000 29,000
The selection screen would have to look something like this, allowing the user to define which period(s) to compare.
Profit Center 3006
Fiscal Year (1) 2012
From Period (1) 1
To Period(1) 3
Fiscal Year (2) 2015
From Period (2) 1
To Period (2) 3
I've found some similar questions about this in SCN forum, but no real solution offered. Has anyone developed this report in Report Painter?
S_ALR_87012284 is a possibility, but our P&L is in report painter.
Thanks.
FA Report: with "Year to Date", "Last Year Actuals" and "Total Accumulated Actuals"
Hi All,
I am new to the SAP FA Module and looking for a report that can give me Year to Date, Last Year Actuals and Total Actuals accumulated on an Asset by the GL Accounts. Let me try to explain the terms as follows.
Year to Date: Actual posted to the Asset in that specific year e.g. if I am running the report in period 8, 2015 this column will give me actual postings from Period 1 to 8 for 2015 only.
Last Year Actuals: Actual posted to the Asset up to previous year e.g. if I am running for Period 8 2015, this column will give me actuals till the end of 2014.
Total Accumulated Actuals: it could be the summation of above two columns or the entire actual posted since the beginning to the specific period. In our example it will be Actuals from the time asset started to Period 8, 2015.
I ran some of the reports (S_ALR_87011994) but It didn't give me options to add these columns either. May be it depends on the sort Variant. Would you please tell me if I have to set up some thing to get to this information and how or if there is a report available that comes close to it.
Will appreciate your responses.

Re: SAP Webdispatcher URL filter
Hello Narendar,
Just create the file using "notepad".
"Inside" the file, add the rules you want, following the documentation sent by Mercedes.

Re: [ASE Error SQL207][SAP][ASE ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Invalid column name 'user_status'.
The installmaster script is run during ASE installation and should be run as part of every upgrade or downgrade of ASE.
The most likely reason is that this server had at one time been upgrade to SP130, then downgraded to SP63, and the installmaster script wasn't run. Another possibility might be that the SP63 installmaster script wasn't restored to the scripts directory. You might check the very beginning of your copy of the script to see if it is for SP63 or SP130.
Another possibility is that there might be multiple ASE installations (with different versions) on your host, and the script from the wrong directory was run against the SP63 server while it had sp_configure "deferred name resolution" turned on.

Re: Access to local variables in calling procedure
Hi Volker,
local variables in methods, form routines and function modules are created just the moment the processing starts. As soon as the END method, form, function is reached, the local variables are freed and returned to the memory stack.
So the only time you could possibly access the local varaiables is when the code is processed (as you can see in debugger). So how do you expect to access local variables before or after they exist?
The only variables that will survive are static variables inside forms or methods. If you are interested in those, there might be a way...

Re: Crystal Reports XI R2 SP6 Install Error...
Yes, unfortunately, we're still stuck in a pre-Win7 world over here. We're working to get out of that hole, but it's a long process with many Enterprise applications that are antiquated. The install is occurring on WinXPProSP3 machines. Thanx.
NetWeaver 740 - required ehp level?
Hi All,
My company have a requirement to deploy Screen Personas 3 into the environment. The minimum requirements for Personas 3 are SAP Basis 740 and SAP Kernel 742.
Now from what I can see in order to upgrade to SAP Basis 740 I need to upgrade the underlying SAP NetWeaver version to 740. We currently run SAP ERP 6 Enhancement Package 4 which runs off a NetWeaver 701 and I am trying to figure out if it is possible to upgrade only the underlying NetWeaver version without having to upgrade the EHP level.
In a nutshell, is it possible to upgrade ERP 6 EHP4 to NetWeaver 740 in order to meet the SAP_Basis 740 requirement or do I need to upgrade to ERP6 EHP7 in order to do this?
Any assistance with respect to the above would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
Thank you,
Kind Regards
Michael Wilken
Customizing PD Web
I am upgrading from 16.5.0 to 16.5.5 and am getting to use the new PD-web for the first time. A big step up but I am wondering a few things ....
In my old implementation, I extended the portal with some additional static content from our EA Program - this was easy enough by figuring out the ice-faces setup and going from there. I also made some extensions to some characteristics of the repository browser and was experimenting with replacing some of the search capabilities.
With the new pd-web, everything seems to be pretty locked down. Can anyone share their thoughts on approaches to extending the new PD-web? I am trying to figure out an approach (legal approach!!) that will allow me to extend the portal to cover off some of the things that ar4e part of my EA Program but not necessarily embedded in the repository.
Thanks for any advice you may have
Bruce
