Are you sure that same variant has been changed? When you create a new variant nothing would be visible in changed by column. But when you actually change something and then save the name of user ID & date would appear. You can check the same in table VARID. You can also check the version in this table for the variant.

i would like to extract the time taken by all transactions that were happened in a given time.
i checked /n/iwfnd/traces , where in i have to go inside each transaction and check the average time taken by GW and back end ECC.
is there any way, i can take a quick look of performance timing of all transactions together?

I need to mass upload Material Inclusion and Exclusion data in VB01 transaction based on different Key combinations. Is there a BAPI or Upload program sample you can share. This will be a great help and urgent too.

I just had this problem. It prevented me from sending the certificates from ABAP to the Content Server. The solution was to add a link for httpd so that the SAP security lib could be used.
cd /usr/lib64/modules
ln -s /<cs_install_loc>/modules/libsapsecu.so libsapsecu.so

Are you trying to change structure MDPM? To access the append structure from MDPM, you shouldn't have to go into change mode. Somewhere on the menu there is an option for append structures. Sorry, I don't have access to a system right now, so I can't tell you the correct path.
