Re: DDL views could not be generated BW 7.4 Upgrade
Dear All,
I raised the same issue to SAP.
They have confirmed that we can ignore this error as per Sapnote 2084716.
Also there are no views that are mentioned in DB02 as missing.
Also SAP Mentioned in case BW team finds any missing views they can run the report
attached to sapnote 2023690.
I hope this helps to others.

Re: Advance to Employees
Hi Sunny
In our case we created a GL account called AR Employees - Company Loan
When an employee makes a loan, we do the transaction via AP Invoice, service type and choose the GL account AR Employee - Company Loan as the Debit account.
This sets up the loan, To track it by Employee we use a UDF of Employee.
Normally we deduct payment based on a schedule payment scheme every payroll period. We do an journal entry to record the deduction credit AR Employee - Company Loan tagging the same employee using the UDF.
We then do internal recon to apply the partial payment thus we see the current balance of each employee.
We did a crystal report for this so that whenever we need to check the balance, we just generate the report.
So far, it works for us. We have a main account AR Employees and under that are several GL accounts for different types of employee accountability.

Alive MAP of ASAP
Good day, everyone.
I would like to introduce you my work, it is “alive map of ASAP 8.0” and wait your comments.
There is the start process of creating map. That is why we watch just 1/3 part of deliverable, anyway you can see concept.
My history. When I looked ASAP 8.0, I thought that it is not comfortable; you have to go to SAP SM and preview WBS of ASAP or during work on project. It means you can see packages of works and structure (WBS) just in the system. It is not usability or comfortable, is not it?
I was thinking: What about to do a quick see ASAP implementation?
What will do when system SAP SM unavailable but you have to see roadmap, sequence of activities, accelerators?
I would like to do mapping information, knowledge, books; it is simple for memorization, and quick, comfortable refresh.
I decided create map of ASAP 8.0, and called “alive” because it has a many features for really life.
Basic concept of “alive map of ASAP” consists of a new points/options for official vision (SAP). Frankly speaking, when I deep dived to ASAP 8.0 I got mistakes, wrong numbers of activity packages, a few activities don’t have clearly deliverables, and so on.
What I have done and created?
- Assigned color and shape to streams ASAP (ALM, BPM, ISM and so on)
- Showing each step of WBS ASAP like a process (block of process) has activities, accountable role, deliverables and accelerators. It look like compact information block
- Assigned to each process block individual numbers. After that you can see how many process blocks are had any stream
- Attached accelerators to each process block from ASAP
Summary: I have drawn ASAP roadmap on a one list
We have got:
- Easy reading and watching ASAP roadmap when you are offline SAP SM
- Best memorization and understanding of roadmap ASAP (it would be use during manage project like a quick see list)
- Any minutes you have template of documents any process of ASAP
- I need your comments; I still have been working at this model and all thing on my way J

Re: Delete and reload custom ztable
Create 3 table, named as to_del, to_update and to_insert. use a sorted type for to_del, standard type for the two others.
First
- Read data from ztable to to_del internal table
- Read data from worksheet to to_insert.
Now loop at to_insert,
- read corresponding record in to_del
- if not found, continue
- if found and identical, delete record in both internal tables
- else move record to toupdate (delete it from toinsert append it in toupdate)
Then
- if and only if replace option, delete database records from table todel
- then insert records from table toinsert and update records from tabletoupdate
- db_commit or COMMIT
Some Abap to minimize DB load (and update/buffer delay).

How to use my SCN 'Cxxxxxx' user id after my contract gets over with SAP ?
I have registered to SCN via 'CXXXXX' user id which was given for me as i'm working in a contract for SAP Labs. Once my contract gets over my 'CXXXX' id will be disabled by SAP. So, How will i be able to continue with SCN from then & what about my points that i have earned till now ? Is there a way to migrate it to a new account or is there an option to change my email in the current account to continue using this account even after my CXXX id gets disabled ?

Using .NET 4.5 features
Hi,
is there a way to use the .NET 4.5 framework with PB.NET (12.5 or 12.6)?
My script:
System.Net.ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol = System.Net.SecurityProtocolType.Tls12!
The system.dll in the references contains the Tls12 and it is also provided by autoscript.
But if I compile the app I get:
'System.Net.SecurityProtocolType' does not contain a definition for 'Tls12'
Tls12 is new in .NET 4.5. So I think that the compiler uses an older version of the framework.
What can I do?

Hi Trinath,
Please check the cardinality of the node and the kind of the data source you are supplying. Seems like there is cardinality mismatch or please check the source code extract in ST22, to get the exact line where the error is triggered, and try to post here, so that the exact issue can be known.

Also check PPF monitor any failure PPF is there. Check Queue SMQ1 and SMQ2 for del.
Here where partial status is there >> No post good receipt. So check what that means. and check related document

Could you please try with valid License Key of BO. Sometimes we are facing the error if we are using the out dated license key . Also we are using IE10 and latest version of Java_1.8_Update 31 for our BO. it is not the problem with Java or Jre . Can you please try restarting the SIA and make sure all the WEBI servers are up and running.

Re: Change in Date is not getting updated
I have resolved the date problem using a play selector components by periodically refreshing the today() function.(Every second). But I still have a problem. based on the day that i calculate from play selector , I am calculating day, month and year to set the selected date and limits for my calendar component which is supposed to have today's date as default selected date. But still it is taking previous day(When i published the dashboard) as the selected date on launch. Any suggestions for this?
