Hello Expert,

 

Any other option to be enable looks like I need to do some configuration in email server. If I don't set any authentication in email receiver I am getting the below error.

 

Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint  [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: java.io.IOException: server not responding OK to RCPT TO; 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay

But for the same mail server I could able to send external mail from ECC server. Kindly advice.

Hello Friends,

 

We are having an ECC system running with 8 application servers (linux@vmware) and CI+DB on physical server (oracle+linux@hp). It is an intensive system with 5000 concurrent users.

We are planning to move the CI+DB to vmware and we would like to get your opinion, based on you experience and knowledge, whether to isolate the DB from the CI (DB standalone using two diffrent servers) or maybe leave both together CI+DB same as it is today on one single server.

 

We are most concern of performance!!!

 

I appreciate your time and inputs on this or any document which clearly explains pros & cons of both.

Hi Deepak,

 

You can have maximum 2 fiscal years opened at the same time for a company code in AA, using your example:

 

• End of 2013 (or early in 2014), fiscal year change (AJRW) was run for 2014 in order to "open" the fiscal year for AA but 2013 was not yet closed (last closed fiscal year being normally 2012) so both 2013 and 2014 are opened
• When you close 2013 (normally during the first quarter of 2014) you run the year-end closing for 2013 so 2014 is the only open fiscal year.
• If you do not close 2013 properly (i.e. you did not run the program without error in a productive run), the system will not allow you to open 2015 (AJRW).

 

--> The scenario you describe is perfectly normal

As Mark Chalfen pointed out, you should not create a Z program and instead look into using BAdI's. Another approach that can help is to use implicit enhancement spots. Find the form that handles clicking the different table cells and insert an implicit enhancement spot at the beginning or at the end. However, please be careful not to break standard functionality and not to insert commit statements that could break the flow of the different logical unit of work.

Not sure what you are trying to do. Anyway there are conversion functions in SAP available and commands for those cases where it will not work. Also the usage of field symbols might help. If it is same to the Excel upload also possible upload can already fix the direct move to fields with different data types.

Date and time if required from upload or system can be found in SYST.

Hi,

 

In CCtr 7.0 I need to copy and paste callers number from CDT.

I can find callers number info from History page and by selecting current call from History list new Contact Details view opens. From there I can't copy source number because it's link that will paste this number to directory search field. From that search fild it's possible to copy number but when number is longer than 8 decimal places then front of the number is replaced with # sign.

For example in next picture you can see that original source number 3726999099 is replaced in directory search with #26999099:

 

 

 

Is there a possibility to insert the whole callers number to that directory search field?

Hi,

 

Please provide the short dump fully so that we can check the issues in the ACR.

 

If manual ACR is working then try re-creating ACR process type in process chain again and try executing.

Dear Folks,

 

Assume that I have web-dispatcher (ABC server) and ECC system (XYZ server) or JAVA systems(PQR) with multiple application servers.

 

I want to enable end users to use Webdynpro ABAP application or SAP GUI for HTML or simply JAVA servers access (like EP for JAVA applications). Here load balancing (by the virtue of reverse Proxy) is done using web-dispatcher.

 

I am considering SSL configuration for secured communication.

 

Question:

 

Do I need to apply SSL certificate on Web-dispatcher only; or on each backend server; or on both(web dispatcher and backend) ?

 

Is it possible that I only apply SSL on web-dispatcher and end users access ABC server and requests gets routed to backend (XYZ or PQR) server and still my security requirement is fulfilled?

 

I have seen that organization apply SSL on reverse proxy server (apache or web-dispatcher) and on backend systems also.

 

Is it required to meet security need ?

Buenos días estimados, se que se han hecho muchas consultas con respecto a este tema pero el caso que tengo me parece muy particular y no lo encuentro, resulta que tengo un usuario SAP con el cual debemos de hacer las conciliaciones, todo estaba en orden hasta hace unos días que empezó a a darme este Error, ya revise las memorias y el asignar mas memoria en el servidor pero lo que me parece extraño es que el error es solo con ese usuario pues probé usando el usuario en diferentes PC´s y lo mismo, pero si hacemos la transacción con otros usuarios esta se genera sin problemas en cualquier PC´, me gustaría conocer sus opiniones al respecto gracias.

Hallo zusammen,

 

ich sitzt z.Zt.. an einer Aufgabe die ich von meinem Dozenten bekommen habe und komme diesbezüglich nicht weiter. Ich habe schon einiges versucht. Aber mit SAP PI bin ich noch nicht ganz warm geworden. Ich bin sozusagen ein blutiger Anfänger. Liegt auch daran, dass ich vorher keinen wirklichen Kontakt mit SAP hatte.

 

 

Hier mal mein Integration Processes, welcher auch Erfolgreich funktioniert soweit.

 

 

Ich sende sozusagen eine Bestellung (XML Datei) über ein Web-Client los.

 

-Die Bestellung wird also Empfangen, dann wird die Bestellnummer transformiert, dann eine Transformation in ein Infosatz und dann wird dieser gesendet

 

- In der ersten Gablung wird unterschieden ob das zu empfangende System RFC oder FTP hat (hier muss ich aber immer eine Bestellbestätigung XML mit der passenden Bestellnummer auf dem FTP Server liegen haben)

 

-In der zweiten Gablung wird noch auf SOAP geprüft und automatisch eine Bestellbestätigung rausgeschickt.

 

 

Jetzt soll ich so ein Szenario bzw. dieses Szenario mit Werte-Mapping umsetzen (falls möglich)

Ist so etwas überhaupt mit Werte-Mapping umzusetzen? Wofür ist Werte-Mapping eigentlich da?

 

 

Bis jetzt konnte ich nur herausfinden, dass man damit Werte eines XML-Dokuments auf Werte eines anderen XML-Dokuments abbilden kann.

 

 

Ich würde mich sehr über eure Hilfe freuen.

I typed in wrongly in post without space. There is no syntax errors when I run simulation but as I mentioned earlier, amount and number is becoming zero when I does this.

The program is looking in C:\PowerBuilder, but that is not where PB is installed.  The files are located in c:\program files (x86)\Sybase\Shared.  The RunTime Packagers for 9.0.2 7509 and 12.5.2 5629 are on the same machine and work properly.  I hunted thru the registry and configuration files, but couldn't locate where the 12.6 4011 Packager is finding c:\PowerBuilder as the location.

Hi Jacobo,

 

Here is what you have to do:

1. Take a system backup
2. Note the location where the data and log files are currently stored
3. Update the parameters basepath_data_volumes, and basepath_log_volumes.  Both parameters can be found in the persistence section of the global.ini file.  Set these parameters to the new data and new log file location
4. Stop HANA
5. Copy the existing data and log files to the new location
6. Start HANA
7. After verifying HANA is working as designed you can delete the data and log files from the original location

 

I have successful done these changes to a live system.  The other option is to reinstall and provide the proper paths during the installation.

1) What kind of a parameter is this - string, number?

 

2) Are you trying to 'filter' records inside the Subreport based on the values selected in the Main Report's prompt?

 

3) What is the datasource for the subreport - command sql, tables/views, stored procs?
