Attempt to set up connection to failed
Hi, i am trying to connect to ftp location. using FTP_CONNECT.
but i am getting below error -

I have checked RSFTP002 , same error occurs. and checked the RFC SAPFTP and SAPFTPA, in sm59, both are working fine.
I have maintained the required entries in SAPFTP_SERVERS . still the same error.
Could you please help me on this.

Thank you for providing document. i have seen that system will generate 4 partitions by default. 1 is for compressed request, 2nd is for non compressed request, 3rd is for reference points of inventory data 4 is for historic movements for inventory data.
How do we see these 4 partitions in the system and what are the structures of these 4 partitions.
As we are discussing like, compression is not required any more for even inventory data also, then what does it meant by first 2 partitions. what is the necessity of existence.

visual basic in bo 4.1
There is visual basic dataprovider in bussiness objects 6.5(old version) which i need to implement the same in sap bo 4.1.
How can do get the same in sap bo4.1 webi reports. If bo4.1 doest supprot visual basic then how can i create the data provide instead of that. I dont know visual basic atleast to understand what code they have written.
Please help me how to approach the solution.

Go to SE38 and pass your report select the attributes and click on display then click on SHIFT+CTRL+0 and then click on F7 and then click on Allowable selection criteria click on CTRL+F4 click on F5 add Reason for action as selection criteria.
Check the output it may work as you required.

Strange, if the file is correctly picked and deleted in the source directory in the third party server PI channel has no chance to pick the same file again.
I strongly believe some thing wrong is happening in your third party server.

we did the same thing we copied prd data and create new system which is our test system them we upgrade that to ECC6 EHP6 now tell me in that system can we do development means writing programs and customization and testing on that bcaz we are implementing new module in our landscape and our existing landscape going to upgrade within month
what you suggest either do all new things in old landscape EHP4 or we can do all new in EHP6
which is feasible kindly suggest

Use this Exit QEVA0010, apply your said logic like if any MIC found not OK or MIC valuation is rejected or not ok then system won't allow UD without notification.
Notification fo defect recording is the stdn functionality, if any MIC rejected then system automatically populate defect recording screen if you have activate the DEFECT RECORDING in control indicator against any MIC.
Only u need to put check without defect code no UD allow.

You can stop the loan by chnges in Loan master in payment tab.
1. For the current month maintain special payment (external) with total loan balance amount in amount field.
2. in repayment field maintain zero value.
Then run the payroll and it would not consider loan from now onwards.

"No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date:- means you dont have enough stock on this date to deliver.
This is confirmed by the system to you in Sales order level.
MMBE you might have stock,but that might have been assigned against order.You have to check in MD04,Co09. Here you will find how stocks are allocated against order.Also check in Material master find what is maintained against Availability check:01/02.
VL01N, it says "only 0 PC of material available-Means some pending orders will be there,due this stock might not have reduced.check for it.
Also check replenishment lead time in Material Master MRP 3 view
But before posting this ,please google down,n-number of documents are available.Seems you are new to forum i am posting this.

Hi Megha,
the way it is done in your screenshot, it would work like this:
If you create a new record and field HRACD contains 05, it will trigger the action.
Did you check IT0008 overview as it will create the record in background. Remove the /D at the end of your second line, this will create IT0008 and show the dialogue. This way you can check if the screen comes up or not.
Also for troubleshooting, you could delete the first line and the /D option, this way, a screen should come up whenever you create or change IT0008.
That's the way I do it here. Going from general to detail. Trying to trigger the action without limitations. if this works, I can include some checks and so on. And the action will always trigger after you hit save. Not earlier.
