Hi Zahid - this application has more than one query, correct?

 

can you try if the authorization issue is occuring also when you have one query only per applications?

Reason I ask is, when using design studio, all queries are executed with merged variables and then I belive the authorisation context is different. I assume you have some special customer exit in the system for the authorisation check - and in case of design studio this can get into a point where the constellation is not authorized.

 

In such cases you would need to run authorisation trace (I would need to search the transaction).

Hello Everyone,

 

Has anyone successfully implemented SMP3.0 Offline caching using the iOS SDKs? Whilst, it works fine for all scenarios with basic authentication it does not seem to work with X509 Cert ( clientcerts) when a queued request is fired after the app back comes online. Any leads would be very helpful.

Hi Ludek,

 

we were getting same error with Crystal report Editor 2008, the reason is missing custom DLLs in crystal report program files. Then we placed all the files to C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86, and it worked.

 

Now because we cannot installed editor on end user machine, so we installed

SAP Crystal report viewer 2008 for Windows from below link: 

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-29774, and we did not find similar folder structure as editor on viewer program files, that why we are strugulling where to place those custom DLLs to make crystal report viewer work same as editor.

 

hope i explained all your questions and the issue I am facing.

Did you check if the firewall was running on the HLM server and if the Ports were open to 1129?

Thank you, you've nailed it!

 

I saw the function module but the name sounded a bit misleading that I thought it would be the status for the whole note. I didn't go checking the parameters so didn't see the correction level there.

Dear all.

Problem was solved!

 

The error was in the withholding tax account, the commitment item assigned to these accounts had the financial transaction set to 40 and was not flagged as stat.

 

After reading the thread below I made the proper changes and it worked!.

 

withholding taxes at invoice are not totally updated at FMF0

Hi Experts,

 

We are trying to load data from ECC to BW in our development system.

we have loaded some of the loads after some time our loadsare stuck with below message:

 

'Data Package 1 : arrived in BW ; Processing : Selected number does not agree with transferred n'

 

in this also if there are 20 data packets the 15 will load properly and 5 will give smae above mebtioned message.

 

if we check job overview in source system i.e ECC job log shows its finished and job log shows even Data records sent in each data package, but they are getting stuck in BI with above message.

 

This is not only case with trascational data master data also not getting loaded for even 3000 records.

 

 

Please find attached screen shot as well.

Please advise.

Hi Manish,

 

Crosstabs with calculated members or conditional formulae could cause issues like these.

 

Try commenting one formula at-a-time to zero-in on a formula that might be the potential cause of the report not working from the Viewer.

 

P.S: Since you're using the CR Viewer 2008, I hope the report is developed in CR 2008 too.

please check expand processing options and check for failed data package. there must be detailed error message for the particular failed datapackages. Please share if u see any message.

hi Abhilash,

 

I know those are formulas thats requires DLL that i mentioned...but the issue is that where to please those dll so that crystal viewer can compile and execute those functions.

 

additionally, the rpt file is out put file generated by crystal editor 2008 source code only...we are trying to open the output file to see the output/result.

-They have moved all the BADI.

 

I have couple more question, How is BW database size relevant with BPC environment size? Dose the size of BW database has any impact on BPC performance?

 

Would it be possibile to install an BPC instance on a standalone server not on top of BW server?

Thank you for your prompt support.

 

Although the app is to be complied in Windows 7, but it is still going to be executed in Citrix 2003 server, as it is in XP, as a Citrix XenApp.   So I'm not in particular seeking for Win 7 features, but just to for compliance of using only currently supported OS. 

 

However, I can't find the Keycode in the registry.  I don't have Business Object node in HKEY_Local_Machine\Software node.  But I found it in HKey_Current_User\Software.  But sill I can't locate the keycode key. I guess I'll have to call.

    The core BI Platform Server & Tomcat only use JRE/JDK 64bit.    If you are want to run WebI on the server than you will need to install JRE 32bit.

Hi All,

 

We have to Implement SAP Fiori Fact sheet's (Material,Customer etc.) as per our findings we got to know Web Dispatcher is Required for Fiori Factsheet. As Web Dispatcher is not there in Our Landscape but we want to Implement Factsheet so is it mandatory to have Web Dispatcher or without that also we can run(Implement) Fact sheet.

Hello,

 

I'm trying to perform a deep insert via an OData create and I'm getting the error "Error while parsing an XML stream: 'BOM / charset detection failed'."

 

When trying with an external REST client like the Advanced REST Client in Chrome, with the same URL and the same JSON it works, but it won't work from UI5 application, where I'm doing smth like:

 

var oModel = new sap.ui.model.odata.ODataModel(uri, false);

oModel.refreshSecurityToken();

oEntry = [];

... some logic - here oEntry is being filled...

var my = JSON.stringify(oEntry);

oModel.create("/someEntity", my, null, null, ...

 

Can anyone help in solving this?

You need to maintain that value to make it "Production" so that you can assign.

 

I can't remember if you need to complete the role methodology for the first time before that field becomes available to select a value.

Hi Raghu

 

You are at the stage for role risk analysis. You will need to go into you role in change mode and run teh risk analysis. Depending on your configuration parameters you may need to remediate/mitigate the risk before you can continue further.

 

Each time you complete a step you can choose save and continue and it will take you to your next step. Role Approval step will trigger a workflow for approval so you will need to have configured the MSMP for that one.

 

Are you trying to use all off BRM or just import roles for ARQ? If don't want to use all of BRM then you can change your role methodology and remove some of the steps (such as role approval). You can then also use the mass maintenance function and set the role to completed for changes.

 

Once you get the role completed check to see if the role status is set
