The problem with MD74/75/76 is that it would also affect the active PIRs. If I understood his requirement correctly, he wants to delete all the inactive versions.
Of course, if he knows the version ID of the inactive version, then the standard transactions may be used.

I will be passing a document to different users based on certain criteria. There will be a variable number of approvers based on the contents of the document. I am most familiar with purchasing workflow, so I don't know the best way to do this for a separate document that doesn't have release strategies connected to it. Is a Z table a good way to go or is there a table in the system already I should use to hold these approval chains.

. The backup catalog table(M_BACKUP_CATALOG) is showing all the backups which was successful. Is there is a way to sync HANA DB CATALOG tables with the actual files on the OS Side.?
We are overwriting the backup files with same file format for each day of the week.That means we have only 7 days backup at a max in backup directory
M_BACKUP_CATALOG tables showing the entire history.I just want to see only the valid backups that are available in the file system.

In a company code/Sales org. (XYZ) there are two customer master records A1 and A2, in the partner functions of the customer master, they have maintained with sold-to-partiesA1andA2respectively, ship to parties are A1andA2 respectively,however the two sold-to-parties will have same bill-to partyA2.
In the above scenario, if I create an invoice for sold-to-party for A1, which sub-ledger account will used?

Hi All,
I have a query regarding default roles in GRC. In the role search screen when the user selects a role, there will be a defaults roles column which shows all existing defaults roles for different systems maintained in GRC.
Actually our client requirement is that when a user selects role for ECC only defaults roles defined for ECC should show up. But currently default roles column shows all defaults roles defined in GRC.
Is it possible to achieve our scenario? Anyone came across same issue?

Hi ALl, We have been having intermittent issues with printing (more specifically BOL printing) on both ECC production & Watre house production server recently. These issues occur at random hours and resolve themselves before the teams have had an opportunity to troubleshoot in detail. Also, both the Basis and hosting teams have analyzed the logs but haven’t reached a definite conclusion. Procedure used in printing: An outbound queue is created and processed in Warehouse Production and passed to ECC PRoduction. In ECC PRod an inbound queue is processed to update and trigger the shipment document. When the shipment document is completed it then triggers the print of the BOL output from the shipment. Then and only then is anything sent to the print queue. AND it will be with user id = ALEREMOTE. The other printing works fine. Any thought..will be highly obliged.. Regards, VIcky

This is not fixed in SP3 as just encountered and we are using SP3. Matt's password does work in SP3 to unlock the workbook though.

Hi there, good on you to find this work-around. Nevertheless, MDG-M shouldn't ignore MARC assignments... Are you a recent SP level for MDG6.1?
MARD was indeed only added with MDG7. You could extend the data model with an entity and the UI with a MARD table easily (check guides in http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7858#section2). Adding the storage location to the initial screen is (to the best of my knowledge) possible but harder.
The recommended approach is to upgrade to MDG7 (which is Generally Available).

Dear Portal Experts ,
We have recently upgraded to SAP NW 7.4 , SPS 07 and we are facing below issues or symptoms. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1. Navigating to Web dynpro ABAP application in new window from portal is resulting in 404 error ( not found ) . Window title is "Logon Error Message" and it is stuck at "com.sap.portal.navigation.helperservice/html/child.html" .
2. Interesting Part : I do not got this error and it navigates successfully if I spend some time in client side debugging ( about 4-5 mins ) or if I open and GUI session from portal and then open WD ABAP application even then it works .
3. We are also facing logout issues where even though a user A is logged out completely , closed broswer and when logged in with new user B it displays user A's information . Not sure if this and above issues are connected.
For point 1 & 2 I believe there is some authentication issue where its not getting authenticated when hitting backend but when opening GUI session or in soending some time in debug it generates something in cookie which then later helps WD ABAP application to navigate further. To confirm this I deleted cookies and cache of browser after successful opening and it failed again.
Any inputs or thoughts please share.

I am trying to find out the purpose of the coding calatog (catalog type D). Is it meant to be used to further classify a notification type? I could have multiple defects recorded on a notification and in that case how can I classify a notification besides it type by making use of the coding catalog code ?
