Hi Shlomi,
The reason why the changes made to the universe do not immediately reflect in Dashboards Designer is because the universe objects are cached when you create a query in Query browser.
So, you may try any of the following options:
1. Restart Dashboards Cache server or
2. Set the parameters "Oldest on-demand data given to clients" and "Security cache timeout" as 1. These parameters are available under properties of Dashboards Cache Server in CMC.

Hi,
Event related to reports are not triggered based on any statements in ABAP.
The event are triggered depended on the way the output is generated .
for eg:
Initialization : triggered when the report is loaded in memory.
At selection-screen output : triggered when the selection screen is loaded in memory before being displayed.
At selection-screen / <field> : before leaving the selection screen.
start-of-selection : the first event for displaying the report.
end-of-selection : after the start-of-selection is completed.
classiscal report events.
top-of-page : every time a new page is started in the list.
end-of-page : every time the list data reaches the footer region of the page.
interactive report events.
top of page during line selection : top of page event for secondary list.
at line-selection : evey time user dbl-clicks(F2) on the list data.
at pF<key> : function key from F5 to F12 to perform interactive action on the list.

Geographical hierarchy using latitude and longitude coordinates:
- Search for your city name in google map
- Open context menu by right mouse click on the city
3. Select “What’s here?”
4. You can now get the co-ordinates for the city as shown below
5. Create columns “ Latitude” and “Logitude” . Enter the geographical coordinates data in the respective columns as shown below.
City | Latitude | Longitude | Population |
Zelzate | 51.19827 | 3.812407 | 50000 |
6. Acquire the dataset in SAP Lumira and go to Visualize tab. Select the options icon in the dimension “City” and create a geographical hierarchy by latitude and longitude.
7. Select the columns latitude and longitude for their respective coordinates and choose next
8. Now you must be able to see your city with proper geographical coordinates

Table EUILZW contains the link between point of delivery (POD) and register.
In other words,it is the table for PoD allocated at Register level.
So, you have to maintain the POD entry at the register level, so that you can perform the joint invoicing for the accounts.

As you are using kernel 741 for the procedure but as per error details your env parameter
ENV: rsdb_ssfs_connect=0
is with value 0.Here i suggest you to set the value of this parameter with 1 as kernel 741 supports only SSFS methods to connect the database.For more on SSFS please follow link SSFS Implementation for Oracle Database
After setting try try run R3trans -d from the upgrade directory and share the result for trans.log file and re try the phase again.

Re: Workflow localization, translation, multi-language WF-dialogs
I also would be very interested of hearing if someone has found a way to easilytranslate a workflow or has a tool for it. Many times the translation can become an own sub-project (this applies also some other SAP functionality which do not offer proper translation tools).
Basically it is not that hard - you probably just want to translate the "visible parts", and this includes just the dialog tasks: maintain the work item text and description in PFTC (this is a bit annoying since you need to log in with the destination language to maintain the work item text). Many times this is enough. But then if you have user decision in the workflow, these you need to go to translate the step to WF builder SWDD.
If you want to make things perfect, you must maintain all the texts in the workflow itself too (in WF builder in the translation menu): all the step names, outcomes, etc. These texts are visible e.g. in the logs etc. so users will most probably have access to these although they are not in the daily use. Luckily the translation tool in the WF builder is quite good, because it lists nicely all the texts of the workflow, and offers a input field to maintain the translation. And if you are after perfection, you need to go back to translating the tasks - the background tasks which will be visible in the logs...
Then, if the developers haven't translated the possible applications that are called inside the workflow, it really can become a project. For example it can be a huge task to translate a big web dynpro ABAP application (some translations come from data elements, some from OTRs, then you will have the messages, etc.)

We have been struggling through some of the standard delivered services and UI5 applications (swim lanes).
I have created a REST service to handle updating the frequently used counter, so much smoother and easier. I think this is the route we will go.
However, not to hijack my own thread, but since we started down the oData route initially, I have not been able to get my gateway service to work. I started by creating an entity called linkid that is simply a string and an entity set that is made of those links. However, I have not been able to get the update entity method for the entity set to work.
I am trying to wrap my mind around what we are trying to do and that we aren't really working with an entity set in the traditional sense, but rather importing a key (reference id) and expecting something to happen in the backend but not really updating that entity.
We originally put this in the LINKS_UPDATE_ENTITY method. But we aren't even getting that far. I have googled the message returned but am still somewhat lost. I am back to wondering if this really shouldn't be in an update method at all, but rather in the execute_action method and whether we should just be doing this with a function import rather than trying to do a put.
We have created other GW services, but they all have traditional entity sets and there is a get implementation in addition to the update and deletes and that all seems to make sense. This one just seems odd as what we are trying to do is very focused and seems to be missing half the parts and I'm wondering if that's the problem....
EDIT: I should mention, that my understanding is that this is an issue with the body of the request, however, I'm not sure how to debug that.

Delete orphaned objects in Prod system
Hi all,
When our BW landscape was set up years ago, some test source systems were created (along with DataSources etc) in the BW DEV system and migrated into QAS and PROD. The source system in DEV was deleted long ago, but there are remnants still left in our PROD system. Since PROD is locked to any changes, I cannot delete them there (without having our BASIS team unlock the system I guess, which is not ideal).
What are the best options to remove the old objects from PROD? Many of those were created as 3.x versions, and I am preparing for an eventual upgrade to our 7.1 system. I am trying to eliminate or update any of the old 3.x objects to prevent any issues during upgrade.

Re: GR to blocked stock at warehouse
I have tried GR (101) with stock type "blocked". But when i check the material document, the stock type is in "unrestrcited use". And in MMBE the stock is in unrestricted, not in blocked stock at storage level.
What you mean by "TR". By TO, i guess Transfer Order.
I work in spanish, and i am not very use to english terms.
