Dear Don, Abhilash and Jamie,

 

Thank you so much for taking your time to response my query.

 

Long long time ago I was a VB programmer and now I want to use CR to communicate with Simply Accounting (I am an accountant now). So I think it is better to use the basic syntax.

 

I tried the code as Jamie suggested and it works. However what I want to do is to assign the variable formula to a table variable such as Journal_Entry.Amount . Then I tried several methods (for exampe {Journal-Entry.Amount} = formula) and none of them are correct. After I searched the help of CR and googled the Internet, I did not find out any solution.

Multiple sections in detail

Hi,

 

It's the details that kill me sometimes...

 

I have a report with 5 groupings.

 

I have a detail line that contains values Da1 and Da2.  Da1 need to be summed (conditionally) at group 5; Da2 needs to be summed (conditionally) at group 4.

 

I have a two formulas on Detail Section C, one sets varGrp5 := Da1, and the other sets varGrp6 := Da2.

 

The summed field in Group5 displays 7.86 down through the entire report.  I don't know where it's getting this value from.

 

I've tried adding formulas on Detail Section A in hopes of resetting varGrp5 and varGrp6 to 0.

 

Should this be valid?  I'm extremely burnt out from this report and somehow I'm not wrapping my brain around this

Hello Oscar,

Have you check if users aren't locked ? Could you sucesfully login to system using SLDDSUSER and SLDAPIUSER ?

Hi,

 

Looking at your formula content, the upper date bound is not considering the records on the upper bound date (because of < instead of <=). Check whether the 2 missing records fall in the upper bound date range.

I had installed ABAP + JAVA ECC system, but somehow i deleted the j2ee folder from the DVEBMGS.. folder, since then nothing is being shown in J2ee Process table.

 

Please let me know how should i do to correct this.

Option 1 - If you have the /usr/sap/SID file system backup then restore that.

Option 2 - Re-install the J2EE stack.

No extraction structure active issue for 2LIS_17_I3HDR

Dear Experts,

 

I have a situation with Extract Structure of 2LIS_17_IHDR DataSource for Plant Maintenance. The issue is, I get ERROR message when I try to run set up tables in tcode OLI7BW: "No extraction structure active or No BW connected" (image attached). But, in fact extraction structure is active(traffic light is green, RSA 6 shows active and could successfully migrate to QA system) and BW also is connected. B'coz I could just loaded half a million records into BW from 2LIS_02_ITM.

 

I found couple of threads on this issue, but they are quite old the SAP Notes mentioned there are not relevant as we are currently on 701 level 3 for both ECC and BW. Further, I deleted set up tables, cleared LBWQ, RSA7 and scheduled job using Job Control in LBWE before going for set up tables. Please share your experiences how this issue was resolved? In one thread it was mentioned to create a SAP ticket, but want to make sure I did not miss anything in the first place. Thanks in advance.

You should install the SMP on cloud certificate not the Odata certificate. That can also be a reason for the issue.

Hi Vishal,

 

Now I want to use IDES 4.7 on Windows 7 (64 Bit). I have installed SAP Logon 730 Pad but not able to create new connection.

Process of adding the entry in SAPlogon 730 is same like what you mentioned in your query.

 

I see that SAPgui is installed on VMplayer but where is the SAP IDES 4.7 running.

Is it also on VM ?

 

If yes, can you try to start the VM on which SAP IDES is running and check the SAPgui connection.
